Liberty Flames Charlottesville Sport reviews
Terrible venue and mediocre comedy
I've been a longtime Liberty Flames supporter, but sadly, this performance fell short of my hopes. Tim's act is decent, yet a good portion of it lacks humor. At the local comedy club, we've experienced superior shows priced at $15.
Regrettably, the MotorCity Casino is an awful location. They offered "premium" seats that were 50 yards away from the stage, but situated at the same level and lacking any elevation. Standing at 6'2", all I could see was the person's head in front of me. The large video screen positioned near the ceiling was also obstructed by the balcony above. Consequently, we ended up spending most of the time by the bar, which provided a superior view. Moreover, there was a 15-minute fire alarm incident, which the bartender informed us was a common occurrence. This is completely unacceptable for a $50 show.
